An estimated 2,000 dogs and their owners ensured Jacksons Landing’s first Dog’s Breakfast was a barking success. Orchestrated and publicised by PR Plus, canines of all sizes, colours and breeds turned the waterfront park at Pyrmont Point into a giant pooch party. The event was headlined by Australia’s best-known vet Dr Harry Cooper, animal communicator Simonne Lee, canine cookery expert Jamie Young, dog trainer Steve Austin and The Southern Cross Flyball team. There were contests to find Sydney’s cutest, ugliest and hungriest dog, as well as an event to identify the dog that most resembled its master. Pupachinos and eat-treats were woofed-down, while owners enjoyed a barbecue and refreshments .
